We ship complete orders as soon as the each item in an order is produced, smoked and packaged. We smoke batches of each item each week, so it may take a couple of days to complete and order. We ship 2 Day and no longer because it is a fresh product
Our Smoked Sausage is all natural pork, hand butchered and ground. Our Smoked Sausage is a finer grind than our Andouille. We use only natural hog casing. No preservatives, additives, or artificial flavors. It is smoked for hours with real wood smoke. It is fully cooked.
All smoked items that we offer for shipping are fully cooked and are shelf stable, vacuum sealed, and not refrigerated for up to 10 days from the date of smoke. Products in a vacuum sealed bag can be refrigerated up to 4 months, or frozen indefinitely.
If you discover that the seal has broken during the course of delivery, and you do not plan to use the item immediately, please call us at 1-985-652-9990 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can discuss a solution or replace the product. Just because the seal is broken doesn't mean the item has spoiled, but for future freezing or refrigeration, the quality will be compromised.
