Red Bean Gumbo Mix
Been buying your sausages for years. Took a week to fly down to New Orleans and enjoy the food. The one day we could get a car to drive to Laplace was the day the restaurant wasn’t open. So, I bought the gumbo kit to take back to Minnesota. Made it tonight using Wayne’s smoked sausage, Andouille and tasso plus garlic and the holy trinity. The roux made for a silky, creamy bean broth with deep umami flavors. It was excellent.
